KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will be the first airline in the world to make a demonstration flight using bio-kerosene, the company informs according to Agerpres. In fact, it will also be the first flight using bio-kerosene in Europe. The flight will take place on November 23, operated with a Boeing 747. One of the engines of the aircraft will use a 50 per cent bio-fuel – 50 per cent traditional kerosene mixture. Together with Air France, KLM has led the aviation industry towards sustainable development for many years. (Nine O’Clock)
